1883-CC $20 AU58 PCGS. Variety 2-A. There is a small die chip on the inner point of star 9. A trace of friction over well-struck design elements prevents a full Uncirculated assessment for this 1883-CC double eagle. The only area of overt incompleteness occurs at the lower reverse border, where the dentils are indistinct. Each side boasts original reddish-gold color. Bagmarks from transport are plentiful.
