1892 50C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. A conditionally scarce but still collectible Premium Gem example of the first-year issue in the Barber half dollar series. The coin is beautifully preserved and frosty, with a particularly clean cheek on Liberty. The strike is also sharp. Both sides display deep multicolor toning that includes lavender, gold, sea-green, olive, and russet. High-end. Population: 50 in 66 (8 in 66+), 14 finer. CAC: 25 in 66, 12 finer (9/17).
