Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1938-D 50C MS65 NGC. A faint speckling of grayish-russet patina confirms the originality of the otherwise brilliant, frosted surfaces of this lovely Gem 1938-D. We note a few light contacts on the obverse including a short reeding mark below T in LIBERTY, but overall the surfaces are sharply struck, smooth, and attractive. A worthy example of the low-mintage key to the late Walker series.
