Proof Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1936 50C PR64 PCGS. The resumption of proof coinage in 1936 marked a comeback of the extra-brilliant proof finish that found favor with the Mint shortly after the turn of the century. This glittering example is indeed brilliant except for a few bits of russet-brown toning that dot the obverse. A sharp and nicely mirrored near-Gem to represent the inaugural year of Walking Liberty proofs, always in demand.
