1870-CC $1 VF35 PCGS. OC-3, High R.5. The 7 is directly over a dentil, the mintmark is closely spaced, and there is no die line extending from the lower tip of the fletching. The 1870-CC has a reported mintage of 12,462 coins and is the most collectible of the four Carson City Seated dollar issues. This Choice VF example features smooth surfaces with violet-gray patina and accents of gold and blue. LIBERTY is readable and most feathers are strong.
