Proof Morgan Dollars
1880 $1 PR64 PCGS. A Choice example of this significant proof issue, with electric blue toning on both sides highlighted with streaks of red. A couple of very small contact marks on the obverse are all that keep this near-Gem piece from a higher grade. While the 1880 Morgan dollar has the highest proof mintage of the series, more attractive examples are few and far between. Population: 93 in 64, 94 finer (9/17).
