Commemorative Silver
1928 50C Hawaiian MS65 PCGS. Hints of iridescence complement the light gold toning that covers three-quarters of the obverse, while the reverse presents a blush of rose-gold color behind the chieftain. The strike is sharp on Captain Cook's portrait and the chief's regalia. A challenging issue in Gem condition, this lightly toned example will fill an empty slot in an advanced collection of classic commemoratives.
