1976 Gold Bicentennial Medal MS67 Ultra Cameo NGC. 33 mm. A scarce gold U.S. Mint medal, struck to commemorate the U.S. Bicentennial with an alloy of .900 fine gold. The obverse and reverse were designed by Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro and staff engraver Edgar Zell Steever, respectively. This variety of the medal had a distribution of 5,383 pieces and weighs 1.42 ounces.
