1853 G$1 MS66 PCGS. Frosty orange-gold mint luster gives this glittering Premium Gem gold dollar magnificent eye appeal. The strike is full, and neither side exhibits distracting abrasions. A few tiny die cracks are seen at the obverse periphery. The 1853 is a popular type coin but is elusive in MS66 and rarely seen finer. Population: 63 in 66 (8 in 66+), 12 finer (9/17).
