1892-CC $10 AU53 PCGS. Variety 2-A. The 1892-CC eagles are increasingly challenging in About Uncirculated conditions, especially with excellent orange-gold surfaces such as the present coin. Light rub on the curls and a tiny reeding mark on the jawline deserve passing mention, but there are no real distractions and other abrasions are few. Luster remains strong at the margins. Struck from the rare obverse variety with the date low and left.
