1875 $20 MS62 PCGS. There have been no hoards or treasures containing large quantities of Type Two double eagles, and the short production span of just 11 years from 1866 to 1876 means that these coins are much scarcer than either Type One or Type Three double eagles. This pleasing Mint State piece has scattered surface marks and frosty yellow luster with a small streak of dark toning at the upper reverse.
