Liberty Double Eagles
1875-S $20 MS62 PCGS. A large mintage of 1.2 million Liberty double eagles was accomplished at the San Francisco Mint in 1875, but the issue is seldom encountered in grades above the MS62 level. This attractive MS62 specimen offers sharply detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces that show the minimum number of minor contact marks for the grade. PCGS has graded 25 numerically finer examples (10/17).
