Liberty Double Eagles
1891-S $20 MS63 PCGS. The 1891-S is available through the MS63 grade, but thereafter it is an extremely scarce double eagle. This radiant orange-gold example is housed in a former generation green label holder and approaches an even finer grade. Sharply struck, the coin shows deep-orange and pale-lilac highlights over smooth surfaces with excellent eye appeal. A few light abrasions in the left obverse field and a tick on the cheek represent the sole extent of mentionable marks.
