1906 $20 MS62 NGC. Like the 1902 and 1905, the 1906 Philadelphia double eagle is a low-mintage, conditionally scarce 20th century issue. Out of the 69,596 coins struck, few survivors are seen finer than MS62 or MS63, and the average certified grade is between MS60 and MS61. This medium orange-gold twenty enjoys razor-sharp detail on the major design features. Frosty luster washes over surfaces that show numerous small marks, but none worthy of singular mention.
