Patterns
1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-261, R.7, MS61 ANACS. Snow PT29. A transitional pattern that resembles the designs of the issued 1859 cent but is dated 1858. This is the centered date Pollock variant with six leaf clusters on the wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This interesting pattern is also one of the few struck in business strike format. Strike definition is strong throughout, and the original tan surfaces have taken on short streaks of red patina over each side, resembling a woodgrain pattern.
