1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1, PR63 NGC. The Indian Head cent as adopted in 1859, with clusters of five leaves on the reverse wreath. This is the Centered Date Pollock variant. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This is one of the most available patterns and as such is a good entry level piece. The fields are deeply mirrored but somewhat subdued by the layer of rich red patina that covers each side. A few light specks of carbon and minor contact marks explain the grade.
