MYSIA, Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 12.52 g, 12h). Cistophoric type. Struck circa 139-136 BC. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; civic monogram to left, crested helmet to right. Kleiner & Noe Series 25b (obv. die 79); SNG BN –; SNG Ashmolean –; CNG E-359, lot 70. Good VF, lightly toned, light deposits on reverse. Well struck.
