Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / REGI ARTI[S], Vulcan standing right, holding hammer and pincers; –/–//Z. Normanby –; RIC V 215; RIC Online 1029. Good VF, silvering, flan crack.

The reverse legend REGI ARTIS (to the king of the arts) is unique to the coinage of Claudius Gothicus.
