168 COINS. UNITED STATES. A complete collection of mint state Washington quarters in a Dansco album. 1932 to 1995 P. A long term collecting effort by a committed collector. The PCGS graded pieces have a September CDN ("Gray sheet") wholesale value of $2794. The CDN values the rest of the silver issues to 1949D at $999 in MS63 (a grade that many will exceed). (There are 2 1938S pieces and no 1938 plain). The keys and most of the semi-keys have been graded by PCGS: 1932D AU53. 1932S AU55. 1934D MS65. 1935D MS64. 1936 MS64. 1936D MS64. 1937D MS64. 1937S MS64. 1938S MS65 (and MS62). 1939D MS66. 1939S MS64. 1940D MS64. 1941D MS65. The math on the estimate: $2794, slabbed CDN. $999 raw (at 63, conservatively). $170.50 balance of raw silver quarters at 11 times face; clad coinage (uncs and proofs at face) $20.25. Total $3983.75. This is a very difficult set to collect given the amount of material that was not necessarily saved during many of the years of issue as well as the huge quantity of silver that has gone into the melting pot.
