Delmatius. Caesar, A.D. 335-337. ® reduced follis. 1.79 gm. 15 mm. Treveri (Trier) mint. His laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; FL DELMATIVS NOB CAES / Two soldiers holding one standard with drapery; GLORIA EXERCITVS around, TRS in exergue. RIC VII 595 (r4). Good Very Fine; brown patina, hard green deposits; well struck with bold pleasing portrait. Very rare.

Delmatius and his brother Hannaballianus, both favored nephews of Constantine I, perished in the purge of the royal family following the death of Constantine in 337.
