Puerto Rico 1884 C/M on GB Crown of George III (1817-1820) Counter Mark is AXF with the host coin being only Fair.
This issue was particularly heavily used in Puerto Rico as the silver content was much higher than the local currency and thus the examples are generally much more worn, in this occasion the Fleur de Lys mark is almost extremely fine where as the coin host (George III 5 Shillings) is worn. These issues were taken out of circulation rapidly and thus are considered RARE.
