Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Gold Triple Unite, Dated 1643, mm. plume with bands on obv. only, bust left with scarf, holding olive branch, rev. Declaration on scroll in three lines, relig prot leg angl angl liber par, colon stops (SCBI Brooker 836; N 2383; S 2726) A very attractive and bold piece in Good very fine or better grade, but has had some tooling between plume and Carolvs and a small repair near edge at 3 o'clock by letter M in the legend, only visible to the trained eye, but this doesn't detract from the coins appeal, extremely Rare and iconic early hammered gold coin.
