THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 365-356 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 6.00 g, 11h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, wearing ampyx / ΛAPIΣ/AIΩN, horse standing right, preparing to lie down. Lorber, Hoard, Phase L-II, 29 (same dies); BCD Thessaly II 315–6; HGC 4, 454 corr. (illustration for 453 and 454 switched). Good VF, toned, some granularity, reverse struck slightly off center with worn die.
