KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.09 g, 6 h), Susa, struck under Koinos, circa 322-320. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [BA]ΣIΛEΩ[Σ] ΦIΛIΠΠOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his righ; below throne, ΛA. Price P208. Struck in high relief. Minor nicks, otherwise, good very fine.
