Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Silvered bronze, 19 mm, 3.60 g, 7 h), Siscia, 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCIT / S - F / HL / ASIS✱ Vexillum inscribed VOT / XX between two captives; in left field, captive seated to left, his hands bound behind his back; in right field, captive seated to right, his hands unbound, rasing his head towards vexillum. RIC 120. A sharply struck and nearly fully silvered example with a splendid helmet decoration. Extremely fine.
