Akarnania, Stratos. Civic Issue. 350-300 B.C. AE 18 (18.33 mm, 4.71 g, 8 h). Head of nymph Kallirhoe right, hair in sphendone / [ΣΤΡΑΤΙΩΝ], bearded head of the river-god, man-headed bull, Acheloüs left. Cf. Imhoof-Blumer, Die Münzen Akarnaniens, NZ 10, 1878, p.163, 9-10; BCD 2007, 362-3. Rough VF, dark green glossy patina, quite porous surfaces on reverse and large flan flaw through face. Very Rare.
