Paphlagonia, Sinope. Under Mithradates VI. 120-63 B.C. AE 21 (21.06 mm, 8.56 g, 1 h). Struck ca. 89-69 B.C. Laureate head of Zeus right / ΣΙΝΟΠΗΣ, ethnic beneath thunderbolt upon which an eagle standing left, head turned to right; TKΣ in upper left field ( = "326", a date? or a magistrate's initials?). Cf. SNG BM Black Sea 1543 ("monogram"); Cf. SNG Copenhagen 304; Cf. RG 60. good VF, nice contrast between toned copper devices and dark green patina.
