A gorgeous Roman green glass bottle, late 1st Century A.D. The piriform body with flattened bottom and long tubular neck with flattened rim. The vessel is well-preserved with light deposits and silvery iridescence with flashes of color covering the majority of the surfaces. H: 4 1/8 (10.4 cm). A very nice example! Ex Superior Stamp & Coin, (Sept. 1980). Est: $600 - 700.
