Drusus, son of Tiberius (died 23 AD). AE 18 mm. Parium mint, Mysia. Struck under Tiberius. Obv. DRV CAES. Bare head right. Rev. Two priests ploughing right. RPC 1659 (uncertain mint, Philippi?). AE. g. 4.46 R. Rare. A very pleasant example. Lovely light green patina. About EF.
The attribution of coin issues under Augustus, Tiberius and Claudius with the type of the priests ploughing is indeed difficult and raises many problems. For a discussion, see RPC I, p. 309.
