Vibia Sabina, daughter of L. Vibius Sabinus and Matidia, and grand-neice of the emperor Trajan, was married to Hadrian in 100 AD. Their long, childless marriage is generally regarded as having been unhappy, though this is not borne out by the contemporary evidence (..). On her death in 137 she was deified by Hadrian (..).
