SWEDEN. Sigismund, 1594-1599. Ore 1597, Ahlstrom 17. A remarkably well-struck and well-centred specimen. This and the fact that it is struck with almost perfect medal alignment indicates that special attention has taken place in making this piece, perhaps to be used as a presentation piece. Despite it not showing through the plastic NGC holder, there is considerable underlying lustre in the coin, especially on the reverse. Finest graded with NGC. In US plastic holder, graded NGC MS62, certification number 2807637-055.
