Four silver rings. Byzantine, 7th-10th centuries AD. Includes the following: 1) Band and shield with simple linear pattern, set with uncut carnelian stone. Diameter of band: 20mm; weight: 6.72g. 2) Grooved band and rectangular shield engraved with linear pattern and set with green glass bead. Diameter of band: 17mm; weight: 2.53g. 3) Grooved band and circular shield with granulated border and glass bead. Diameter of band: 19mm; weight: 5.70g. 4) Grooved band and star-shaped shield set with small glass bead and decorated with granulation and twisted filigree work. Dimensions: 19mm; weight: 2.53g. All toned and intact.
