Boehringer, Erich. Die Münzen Von Syrakus. (Berlin / Leipzig, 1929). Two volumes (Volume 1 – 297 pages of text; Volume 2 - 32 plates of coins). Volume 1 hardbound; Volume 2 in original card portfolio binding. Rare original, covering the coinage of Syracuse from 530-435 BC ,and listing no less than 733 die combinations, Boehringer's thorough die corpus contains almost all the known dies that appear on the market today. Clain-Stefanelli 2257* . Fine condition overall, text tight and excellent plates, portfolio binding showing wear.
