Head, Barclay V.. Two Titles on Greek Coins. Lot includes his 1874 On the Chronological Sequence of the Coins of Syracuse (80 pages with XIV plates) and his 1880 On the Chronological Sequence of the Coins of Ephesus (89 pages with V plates). Both are hard bound stand-alone reprints of the article by the author in the Numismatic Chronicle. Although dated, they are still useful and by one of the giants of ancient numismatics. Fine to Very Fine condition overall, some age showing, Syracuse volume showing wear with split at the back spine, interior of both loose with Syracuse volume having some initial separation .
