AITOLIA, Aitolian League. Circa 250-225 BC. Stater (Silver, 25 mm, 10.25 g, 4 h). Head of Apollo to right, wearing oak wreath; below neck, ΦΙ. Rev. ΑΙΤΩΛΩΝ Aitolos, nude but for his hat, his sword and his chlamys over his right leg, standing left, holding his spear in his right hand and with his right foot propped on a boulder; to left, Δ. BCD Akarnania 444. Tsangari 750 (D25/R86). Toned and well-centered. Good very fine.
