PHOENICIA. Tripolis. 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 15.26 g, 1 h), year 3 = 110/109 BC. Jugate laureate and draped busts of the Dioskouroi to right; stars above. Rev. ΤΡΙΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ ΙΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΥΤΟΝΟΜΟΥ Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia; outer left, date Γ; inner right, ZH; in exergue, ΘE; all within wreath. SNG Copenhagen 270. Lightly toned, well centered and of good style. Minor scratch on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
