1895-O $1 AU58+ PCGS. The New Orleans issue of 1895 comes from a limited 450,000-coin mintage and was widely circulated at the time of its commercial release. Uncirculated examples are scarce, pricey, and often unsightly with heavy abrasions. This highly lustrous near-Mint example is brilliant, minimally abraded, and only a faint brush of high-point friction away from Mint State. Strike weakness on the hair above Liberty's ear is typical of O-mint Morgans from this period.
