1895-S $1 MS64 NGC. This near-Gem is about as fine as the 1895-S Morgan dollar is typically offered, as NGC has seen only 14 numerically finer coins (10/17). A couple of light marks on Liberty's jaw are all that limit the grade. The coin is brilliant and satiny with a hint of reflectivity in the fields. Central sharpness is above-average for the issue. Housed in a scarce late-2000 vintage NGC holder.
