1807 $5 Bust Right, BD-2, R.5, AU58 PCGS. Bass-Dannreuther Die State e/b, showing delicate cracks at the tops of ERT in LIBERTY on this Small Stars obverse die. A light crack connects the tops of UNITE on this Large Stars reverse die. This is the last year of issue for Robert Scot's Draped Bust Right design, and a transitional year marking the introduction of the new John Reich design. This lovely near-Mint representative has satin luster on its light gold surfaces. Slight weakness is evident where the left side of the shield joins the wing. Wisps of subtle rose toning appear at the borders.
