Indian Half Eagles
1911-D $5 MS60 NGC. The 1911-D is a very scarce issue in any Mint State grade. Satiny mint luster, light orange-gold color, and strong strike characteristics are distinctive. Small marks appear over each side, but there is no trace of friction present. Like quarter eagles bearing the same date-mintmark combination, this issue is one of the low-mintage keys to its series.
