Liberty Eagles
1906-D $10 MS65 PCGS. The Denver Mint began production in 1906, and a complete set of coinage from that opening year is a reachable goal, starting with this lovely Gem ten dollar gold piece. The rest of the six-coin set includes a dime, quarter, half dollar, half eagle, and double eagle. This sharply struck example has frosty yellow luster with a small mark at Liberty's throat, and a few other trivial marks of no consequence. Population: 31 in 65 (1 in 65+), 3 finer (10/17).
