1872 $20 MS62 PCGS. Among Uncirculated 1872 double eagles, this MS62 coin is high-end, and it is rare as such. Fewer than two dozen coins are reported in this grade at PCGS and NGC combined, and the two services list just six finer representatives (10/17). The surfaces are vibrantly lustrous and show bold design elements with no die lapping. Frosty yellow-gold margins surround vivid orange-gold interiors, and abrasions are at a minimum.
