Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1908-S $20 AU53 NGC. With a mintage of just 22,000 pieces, the 1908-S twenty is a high-demand double eagle in all grades. This attractive orange-gold example retains much of its original mint luster and shows only light abrasions combined with minimal wear. A shallow rim bump at 8 o'clock on the obverse is the sole mark of note. All 1908 San Francisco Mint twenties were struck with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST.
