Commemorative Gold
1903 G$1 Louisiana Purchase, McKinley Gold Dollar MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Both sides display frosty mint luster with rose-gold accents across gleaming, sharply struck surfaces. A tiny rim nick at 9 o'clock is the sole mark seen under a loupe. Minor blending of the reverse dentils -- normal for the issue -- is noted, along with an interesting die crack from the edge between S and T of ST. LOUIS that branches north and west with a small retained cud. A dot of red toning at OF from the copper alloy pedigrees this attractive, high-end Superb Gem. Only two finer coins at PCGS. CAC: 63 in 67, 0 finer (10/17).
