Lincoln Cents
1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red PCGS. The Lincoln cent was introduced in 1909, and early strikings included the designer's initials on the reverse (VDB for Victor D. Brenner). The 1909-S VDB claims a series-low mintage of 484,000 pieces and the issue has been a sought-after key since the time of issue. This impressive Gem exhibits sharply detailed design elements and well-preserved original red surfaces, with a few microscopic specks of carbon on the reverse.
