1911 25C PR65 Cameo PCGS. CAC. Strong Cameo contrast is unexpected for a 1911 proof quarter, but this Gem example has it. Smooth, glassy-mirrored surfaces turn jet-black at certain angles, while the frosted devices appear frost-white and elevated against the fields. Just 543 pieces were struck as proofs, and relatively few of those have earned Cameo designation -- fewer still with CAC endorsement.
