Standing Liberty Quarters
1921 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. This is a pleasing representative of a challenging Philadelphia issue. Low mintages characterized the Mint's production of both quarters and half dollars in 1921. No branch mint quarters were struck in 1921 (and no quarters at all in 1922). As a result, collectors must vie for a limited number of sharp P-Mint examples. Although Full Head coins are available and the shield is generally sharp, some coins are weak in other areas such as the 1s in the date and the lower obverse stars. This nearly brilliant 1921 is well-produced in those areas and sharp on the reverse, too. A faint golden sheen does not diminish the bright silver luster. Population: 76 in 64 Full Head, 83 finer (10/17).
