Early Half Dollars
1807 50C Draped Bust, O-105, T-4, R.1, AU50 ANACS. Tompkins Die State 2+/2. Richly toned in shades of reddish-tan, blue, and walnut-brown with sea-green hues at the borders, this Overton-105 shows few marks of any kind. The coin is well-struck from an early-to-middle die state, defined by die clashing and light die cracks on both sides. Minor high point wear on the devices accompanies soft mint luster at the margins. There are no adjustment marks. Housed in a small, early generation ANACS holder.
