Bust Half Dollars
1824 50C O-107, R.2, AU50 PCGS. Star 7 nearly touches the front of the cap, and crossbar 5 of the reverse shield ends before reaching the shield edge. A prominent dot fills the open space -- likely a centering dot, since its position appears to be 16.25 mm from the edge along the diameter from top to bottom and left to right. Old-silver toning covers both sides, deepening near the raised elements. Marks are few on the sharply struck surfaces, while eye appeal is strong.
