Reeded Edge Half Dollars
1837 50C GR-22, R.2, MS61 NGC. CAC. Sea-green, pearl-gray, and yellow-gold endow this lightly abraded and satiny Bust half. The strike is sharp except on the lower reverse and upper obverse, from an advanced die stage. The 50 CENTS reverse is a two-year type, made more desirable by the scarcity of its low-mintage, first-year 1836 counterpart.
